We have been looking forward to Hannah and Dave’s wedding since as far back as Courtney and Nick’s wedding in 2014 and as recent as Libby and James wedding in October last year.  There is self-asserted pressure that we place on ourselves to ensure that every story we tell is amazing and Hannah and Dave’s was no exception.

Having known the groom for near-on 30 years we were greeted with open arms at the boys preps in the morning.  Preps ran beautifully and it was great to be working alongside Katherine Jamison again.  Both Hannah and Dave were really relaxed when talking to the camera regarding the proposal and this is evident in their film.  It wasn’t completely smooth sailing with Hannah’s father having a persistent blood noise which involved a quick trip to the doctors prior to escorting the beautiful Hannah down the aisle on-time.

The ceremony was at the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne in Alphington followed by photos at Studley Park Boathouse.  Meanwhile everyone else headed to the Mountain Goat Brewery in Richmond to celebrate the wedding.  Fairy lights provided the ambience whilst the styling of the room was just amazing.  Friendly staff roamed the room pouring a variety of handcrafted beers and serving amazing food (and we happened to sample both).  What followed was a communal feast involving a table covered with antipasto, whole prawns and oysters.

Speeches were heartfelt and gave all 110 guests a clear insight into Hannah and Dave’s life and relationship. The waltz was one of those goose-bump moments as they took to the floor for their first dance.  A Touch of Paradise was a fitting selection given this songs significance in their lives.

We were absoluetly thrilled to be a part of Hannah and Dave’s wedding and we are so incredibly proud of the film that we have created for them.  It is our hope that this film brings them years of good memories that they can share with their friends and family.  Enjoy!
