We packed our bags last weekend and made the trip up to Echuca to film Courtney & Nick’s wedding.  We decided to make a weekend of it and headed up Friday night so that we were good-to-go first thing Saturday morning.

Courtney & Nick’s family and friends did the same and it was a real party atmosphere at the boys preps in Deep Creek Marina albeit maybe a few too many beers had been consumed the night before and the boys had not had nearly enough sleep.  They soldiered on through the preps with minimal fuss but maximum disorganization.  Such is a wedding.

The girls were getting ready at Perricoota Station which was also to be the backdrop for the wedding.  The homestead was where the girls were getting ready whilst the band and florist prepared for the outdoor ceremony.  Out of nowhere popped 240 guests who were bused in for the wedding.  The horde was not too dissimilar from something out of the walking dead as they made their way across the lawn (just no zombies)

Courtney & Nick’s dog had the responsibility of being ring bearer and did a fine job.  The ceremony was short and sweet and was not without emotion as Courtney made her way down the aisle.

Photos followed with Courtney’s horses whilst the boys decided they had recovered from the night before and thought they would get stuck into the beer.

What was to follow was more of a concert than a wedding reception with a totally awesome band in the Smokin O’Briens who rocked the Packing Shed foundations (literally).

It was a beautiful wedding and Courtney & Nick were such a relaxed couple and pleasure to work with.  Below are a few screen captures from their wedding day.
